Tibetan couple Mr Gerong Phuntsok and Ms Dawa Drolma celebrated their happy occasion with a series of wedding potraits to share their rich culture.
Here, some tips to re-create their destination wedding photo shoot.
1. Don your traditional costumes
The couple married their heritage with traditional costumes and the rich colours of the costumes complemented the setting in Lhasa.
2. Choose venues which offer picturesque views
Forget about lavish floral arrangements! Their wedding photos looked every inch of perfection with nature landscapes.
3. Add Modern Touches To Your Bridal Photos
You don’t have to get all stoic when it comes to taking traditional shots for your wedding. The couple wore traditional costumes, but added a twist to it. The groom wore modern high-cut boots and the bride had a simple centre parting that brought the focus to her face and features.
4. Create Casual, Off-beat Poses
It’s important for couples to relax and have fun during bridal shoot, says Kwang, chief photographer of Lightbox Weddings. “Couples naturally create better pictures when they’re having fun and when they’re enjoying the process,” he adds.
